Here’s what we’ve found beneficial online this week:
Ministry Spark continued their series on anxiety and how it effects our kids. When stress and anxiety hit this post points readers in this direction, “Learning how to calm our bodies is actually where we can find rest. It’s a discipline. I think it’s why we’re supposed to have Sabbath where we’re not doing work.” We get anxious when we spend too much time in our head over analyzing everything. If we don’t deal with it, we will pass that on to our kids. We can trust God, knowing He is control.
Lifeway Kids had a post on caring for kids in these chaotic times we find ourselves living in. It reads, “In a world of many unknowns, God reminds us that He is El Shaddai, God All Powerful.” The post goes on to make some practical suggestions for families.
Scott Kedersha had a post on martial hopes. He and his wife will be celebrating 20 years of marriage this year and he encourages his readers to look forward with hope. He ends the post with this good advice, “Quit resisting change—embrace it and grow in your marriage and relationship with Christ.”
