Here’s what we’ve been reading online lately:
The Gospel Coalition had about being an angry parent. It reads, “ God calls parents to train and disciple our children—which means they need our correction at times. In fact, if we don’t provide any consequences for the disobedient daughter or the lax son, we are negligent in our parental duties.” This is how to use anger properly, aim it at the root sin, not the fruit sin.
Fierce Marriage shared a link to their podcast on the topic of intimacy. They claim spiritual intimacy is the best kind of intimacy. If you’re married, check it out.
Kim Botto shared her post entitled, “Parenting Well In The Midst Of A Pandemic”. It reads, “We can choose calm despite the crisis. We can build brave kids in the face of growing fear. Our homes can be a bright spot of resilience and help.” It goes on to list practical suggestions to how to do that.
