Here’s what we’ve been reading online over the past couple weeks:
Everyday Kids Ministry had a post about how to talk to your kids about what is happening in our world. It reads, “Our most effective discipleship will coach kids on how the gospel relates to the real world in which they live and the real events that are impacting our communities.” This post goes on to list 7 things to keep in mind when discussing current events with your kids. This is a timely and needed post.
The ERLC had a post with tips on teaching kids about racism. The author says, “Raising children who not only see the brokenness in our society, but know that the gospel speaks a better word is powerful.” These conversations are bound to be uncomfortable, but necessary, this post will help.
Fierce Marriage had a post about reminders that help when marriage is going through a rough patch. This happens to all couples at some point, and if not resolved, can cause disaster. These reminders are helpful, especially in the heat of the moment.
