Here’s what we’ve been reading online lately:

Michayla White had a post at Ministry Spark entitled “What Scripture Says About Children’s Ministry.” She wrote, “The Lord has given us countless evidence in His Word that this heart for kids and their role in the kingdom has been true from the beginning.” This is a great reminder and encouragement about the importance of having a biblical vision for children’s ministry.

The New Growth Press blog had a post about how to help your teens engage with pop culture. It reads, “Showing interest in things that [your kids] are interested in is never wasted time.” It takes patience, time, and good listening skills, but it usually opens the door to more conversations.

Brian Moss had a post listing characteristics of an unchurched family. These characteristics are things most churches don’t think about. As a result, most churches don’t have a plan for how to minister to unchurched families. This is a challenging read for those involved in ministry.
