Here’s what we’ve been reading online lately:

The ERLC had a post on way to help our doubting loved ones. It reads, “Fears grow when questions are unanswered. Instead, we should help our loved ones turn toward the Lord, searching his Word and praying he would replace fear and confusion with faith and clarity.” It lists several ways to help. This is a good list; which helps clarify how to handle doubt. Whether it’s our family or within our family of faith, we need to keep these things in mind.

David Mathis over at Desiring God had a post on managing your household. He says, “One of the greatest needs wives and children have—and all the more in our relentlessly distracting age—is dad’s countercultural attentiveness.” Dad’s, this one is for you. This post goes on to explain what it means to be the spiritual leader of our home that God calls us to be.

Dan Istvanik had a post on the subject of what’s holding back your ministry. He simply lists ten things that all revolve around ... in a word, you. This list is as good as it is comprehensive. If you are a ministry leader, I encourage you to check it out.
