Here's what we've been reading online this week:

Chris Swain wrote a post on what is typically overlooked when it comes to ministry growth, discipleship. He says, "Churches that make disciples who make disciples will explode simply as a result of multiplication. But the discipleship must be more than a program or a time slot. It must be intentional. It must be Christ-centered. And it must be gospel-focused." While I understand that LifeWay is pushing a product, the categories listed in this post are helpful for us all as we think through discipling kids, students, and adults.

Kenny Conley wrote a post on the things we allow to become normal in ministry. He laments, "...  I realized how many stupid things we do and say in our ministry that have simply become normal to us." We need to constantly be evaluating what we do and get rid of the things that don't make sense. Read Kenny's post for some helpful ways to do this.

Greg Baird had a post entitled "Sharing the Gospel in 10 Words". While reminding readers to of the need to: "keep it simple .... stay focused ... learn and practice a technique that you feel comfortable with"; he also says, "But if we are failing to share the Gospel, we are failing in our ministry." His gospel in 10 words is gold, and even comes with hand motions that you, your staff and the students can easily memorize."
