Family Friday Links 12.11.15
Here's what we've been reading online this week:
Connected Families had a practical post on helping kids enjoy giving over getting. It’s a timely post as we all probably find ourselves in the midst of the craziness of Christmas.
For the Church had a post on not missing moments. Pastor Bill Laky recounts a recent conversation he had with his daughter and what we all could learn from it.
The Counsel on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood had a post letting boys be (non-medicated) boys. It reads, “Even the goodness of boyhood energy is broken by the fall.” If you have sons, especially sons with lots of energy, this post is well worth your time.
Monergism had an encouraging post with parental reminders. It starts out by saying, “Parenting is just hard. It’s tiring. It’s busy. It’s laborious. It’s unending. It’s continuous. It’s demanding. But with all these realities, we as parents must remember that parenting is supremely rewarding!” If you are struggling in your parenting right now, this will help.
