Here’s what we’ve found interesting online this week:

Dan Istvanik had a post entitled, “The Twelve Disciples of YOUR Youth Group”. It a hilarious combination of the disciples and the personalities of the students we tend to see in youth ministry. If you can’t identify them all, you may not be looking hard enough.

The Gospel Coalition had a post entitled, “What We Learn When We Teach Kids the Bible”. He lists 5 benefits of being a children’s ministry teacher. This is an encouraging post to use for training new teachers, as well ask for parents who seek to disciple their children.

Ministry Spark had a post on the topic of students and culture. It reads, “We must learn to approach our cultural moment from the Big Story; otherwise, we’ll miss the meaning of both the moment and the Story.” Helping students (and adults for that matter) understand how cultural moments fit into God’s Big Story of redemptive history is difficult, it is also an extremely necessary skill, if faith is to truly grow.

What have you enjoying and benefitting from online lately? Leave us a link in the comment section to check out.
