Family Friday Links 5.21.21
Sorry about missing a few weeks, life has been a little crazy around here. Here’s what we’ve been reading online as of late:
Jason Helopoulos had a post on the Crossway Publishing blog giving parents encouragement as they seek to teach their kids the Bible. The posts lists 8 encouragements for parents to consider. Remember Mom and Dad, you don’t have to be perfect, just faithful.
Ministry Spark had a post on 5 ways to equip and empower volunteers. This post is super practical for ministry pastors and leaders.
Aaron Armstrong had a post on The Gospel Project site on the importance of rest. He says, “ … discovering—and removing—our burdens that prevents rest…” Leaders need to understand their burden in order to remove them by laying them at the cross. This isn’t easy, but necessary if we looking for long term effectiveness for God’s kingdom and glory.
