Here’s what we’ve found helpful online this week:

Our friend Marty Machowski had a great post on the topic of kids and their sin. “Blame-shifting” is often a tactic kids take to avoid responsibility for their actions (… we adults do it as well). Marty lists 3 reminders for all of us on how to handle this. He also has a book and Bible study that will help drive responsibly home.

Seth McBee had a post on the Gospel-Centered discipleship blog on teaching kids to follow Jesus. He uses Deuteronomy 11:18-20 as a spring board for discipleship. It’s a good and helpful read.

Parent Ministry had a post about praying for your kids. It lists 8 ways parents can be specifically praying for their kids. This post is a great reminder of the both the importance of prayer and the God-given responsibility we have be consistently praying for our kids.
