Here’s what we’ve found helpful and encouraging online this week:

Fierce Marriage provided a link to their podcast on the importance of trust in the marital relationship and how to rebuild it if it’s betrayed. It reads, “How can a couple find reconciliation and healing after trust is shattered. It’s not easy and it requires both spouses to work hard, but there is hope.” If you are experiencing this or are a pastor or leader walking with others through it, this podcast will help.

Ron Brooks published a post on things kids need from kids ministry. He lists 6 things that use the accronym G.R.A.P.E.S. This is a good list and worth consideration of any pastor or leader.

Christianity Today had a post on sex offenders and church. The byline for this post reads, “Most Christians believe offenders belong at worship. Most congregations aren’t prepared to welcome them.” This is something EVERY church MUST take seriously. To post goes on to promote not just background checks, but should also include: an application, personal and professional references (that the church actually contacts), and an in-person interview. It is part of the shepherding aspect of ministry to protect the flock.

What have you been reading online lately? If you’ve found it helpful, leave a link the comment section to check out.
