Here’s what we’ve benefited from online this week:

Core Christianity has a post on the need for friends to confront sin. It reads, “ If you want to grow in grace, surround yourself with godly friends. These are the people who aren’t afraid to wound you every now and then so that you get your act together.” This is a great reminder for pastors and parents alike. We all need people around us to help us see our sin, it’s a necessary labor of love.

Ministry Spark had a post on nursery and the gospel. It reads, “ Our ministries should take full advantage of kids’ curiosity, to continually point them toward the truth that we need a rescuer from our sin and that God sent Jesus to be just that.” Keeping it short and simple, loving and caring.

New Growth Press had a post on hope and waiting. It says in part, “ When we are waiting, hope means trusting what God says more than trusting what we can see or even feel.” We live in a culture where we hate to wait and trust in the midst of waiting is hard. We need to remember that God often times doesn’t work on our timetable, yet is always working for His glory and our good.
