Here's what we've been reading online this past week.

Our friend, Sam Luce wrote a post on parenting and favorites. He says, "His [God's] love isn’t divided by his children but rather is love is unending and has no beginning and no end." Sam makes a good point that parents should thinks through.

A former youth pastor of mine, Doug Holliday, has started writing a series of posts on #likeJesus. His most recent is on being victorious. He concludes this way, "How differently would you and I approach the mission Jesus has given us- to proclaim the Gospel to all creation and make disciples of all nations- if we lived confidently believing that victory had been secured?" Pastors, how are you challenging your co-laborers? Parents, how are you challenging your kids?

Greg Baird wrote a post on long term leadership. He wrote, "Program – no matter how creative or captivating – is not a plan for spiritual formation." He goes on to list other important characteristics of leading long term. If you are a leader, of any kind, this list is valuable.
