Here’s what we’ve been reading online this past week:
Scott Kedersha had a post on martial encouragement. He writes, “We love to use the word ‘love’ … The problem is that while we often use the word, many of us don’t live it out in marriage and relationships.” The post goes on to online a practical exercise that couples would be wise to consider.
Youth Pastor Theologian had a post entitled, “Helping Students Pray for Afghanistan.” It lists 5 ways to lead students through in order to help them understand how to respond. The post ends with, “Let’s be intentional as student ministry leaders to help our students think globally about their Christian identity in our world.”
And finally, The Gospel Coalition had a post co-authored by our own Jared Kennedy, along with our friends Marty Machowski and Deepak Reju, on the topic of Children’s Ministry recruitment. It reads, “If you don’t recruit well, you’ll eventually run into trouble.” The post then lists three particulars to keep in mind when recruiting.
